Privacy Policy

The short version: Your raw log data never leaves your browser. We only process sanitized logs where all sensitive information has been replaced with generic labels. We do not sell your data.
1. What We Collect
Abendly collects the minimum data necessary to provide the service:
- Account information: Email address and hashed password (via Supabase Auth).
- Sanitized logs: Only the sanitized version of your logs, where hostnames, IPs, queue manager names, channel names, and user IDs have been replaced with generic labels like [HOST_1], [QM_1], etc.
- Analysis results: The structured diagnosis output (error codes, fix commands, timelines).
- Anonymous fingerprints: Error code + platform + fix type combinations, stored globally without any user-identifying information.
- Usage data: Number of analyses performed, plan type.
2. What We Never Collect
- Raw, unsanitized log data
- Real hostnames, IP addresses, or domain names
- Queue manager names, channel names, or queue names
- User IDs, passwords, or credentials from your MQ environment
- SSL certificate details or key paths
3. Client-Side Sanitization
All log sanitization runs entirely in your web browser using JavaScript. The sanitization engine identifies and replaces sensitive patterns before any data is transmitted to our servers. You can verify this by inspecting the sanitized output in the preview panel before submitting.
4. How We Use Your Data
- To analyze sanitized logs and provide diagnostic results
- To build anonymous case fingerprints that improve future analyses
- To detect recurring patterns in your (sanitized) analysis history
- To process payments via Stripe
- To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)
5. Third-Party Services
- Anthropic (Claude): Receives sanitized logs for AI analysis. Subject to Anthropic's data usage policy. No raw data is sent.
- Supabase: Hosts our database and authentication. Data stored in their infrastructure.
- Stripe: Processes payments. We do not store credit card numbers.
6. Data Retention
Analysis results are retained for the duration of your account. You can request deletion of all your data by emailing privacy@abendly.io. Anonymous case fingerprints (which contain no user-identifying information) are retained indefinitely to improve the service.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access all data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Export your analysis history
- Withdraw consent at any time
